OUR STORY
At Aroma Café, we are passionate about bringing the true essence of Puerto Rican coffee to our community. Our beans are carefully wood roasted by hand to achieve a deep, flavorful dark roast, and ensuring each cup is a delight for your senses!
My name is Lucy and my husband Mateo began this journey in our hometown in Puerto Rico or as we call, "La Isla del Encanto" or "The island of enchantment." This has been a dream of ours since we moved to Wisconsin post hurricane Maria in 2017. This dream started in Barranquitas where we sold coffee, at a little stand inside the mall, and gas stations. Although there were many challenges along the way to get where we are now, our passion has always been to serve coffee, and it makes us so happy that we want you to enjoy it as much
as we have!
It has been quite a challenge and journey but with determination, faith, and passion we can now bring a little taste of Puerto Rico to the Milwaukee area.
